For our own projects, we are looking for: OFFSHORE METHODS ENGINEER Ref code: CR_2407-100_Offshore Methods Engineer Job summary MISSION: The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the execution of offshore installation projects, focusing on the engineering and installation of subsea equipment, structures, and rigid and flexible lay systems. TASKS: Attend project progress meetings and engineering coordination meetings. Engage in technical review meetings (procurement, engineering, fabrication, operation, interface). Issue, update, and follow up on procedures and documents related to the project scope. Develop and study installation engineering related to the project scope. Prepare technical memos and queries to support any contractual deviations. Initiate and document all equipment, installation aids, and material. Specify and follow up on equipment, installation aids, and materials, including associated documentation. Review contracts, qualifications, clarifications, and specifications for both internal and interface needs. Ensure equipment, installation aids, and material requirements are communicated and received. Provide technical support for Spread&Equipment Engineering (drawings, SOP, layout). Review subcontractor technical documentation and provide input. Organize, gather, and check data from subcontractors for installation engineering. Review manufacturer testing procedures and reports (FAT, SIT/OT). Review subcontractor/supplier testing procedures and reports (FAT, SIT/OT). Provide input for SIT/OT procedures. Update and revise Installation Engineering drawings based on supplier, manufacturer, and subcontractor documentation. Issue, update, and follow up on Technical Bid Evaluations. EDUCATION&EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Structural, Mechanical, Civil). 10+ years of significant experience in the offshore Oil&Gas industry. Previous experience with ADNOC standards. Willingness to spend short periods offshore on board installation vessels. Fluent level of written and spoken English.
