Role We are looking for a Project Director to be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The selected talent will lead a project from the concept stage to the operational handover stage to deliver the project/s to the satisfaction of Clients and Compass Partners, within budget, within the programme, by the brief, and in accordance with authority requirements. Key Responsibilities: Defining project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones. Allocating resources and managing project budgets. Leading and motivating project team members. Monitoring project progress and ensuring deadlines are met. Identifying and managing project risks and issues. Communicating with stakeholders and keeping them informed of project updates. Adhering to project management methodologies and best practices. Resolving conflicts and making decisions to keep the project on track. Evaluating project outcomes and conducting post-project reviews for lessons learned. Qualifications: An Engineering or Construction-related degree is required. Strong Project Management skills, and technical expertise with minimum experience of 10 years. PMP certification will be highly regarded. Must have experience as a Project Director on a major building program within the UAE. Previous UAE PMC project experience is required. Candidates with a contractor background will also be considered. Experience in overseeing the design, procurement, and construction of hotels, residential, high-rise, and commercial projects is essential. Proven experience in leading teams and managing major projects.
