PURPOSE OF THE JOB: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in Offshore projects to join our team. The role focuses on the design analysis and implementation of electrical systems for Offshore Oil&Gas facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles offshore regulations and project management within the Oil&Gas sector. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Design develop and oversee electrical systems and components for offshore platforms and associated facilities. Perform technical evaluations feasibility studies and cost estimation for electrical systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the design and execution phases. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical engineers designers and project managers to integrate electrical systems with overall project objectives. Conduct and review electrical calculations including load analysis short circuit studies and coordination studies. Prepare specifications datasheets and other technical documentation for procurement of electrical equipment. Support commissioning and startup activities including troubleshooting and resolution of electrical system issues. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. KEY QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering preferably focused on Offshore Oil&Gas projects. Proficiency in electrical design software such as ETAP SKM PowerTools or similar. Knowledge of offshore electrical systems including power distribution instrumentation and hazardous area classifications (e.g. ATEX). Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g. NEC IECEx API IEEE). Experience in preparing technical reports specifications and engineering drawings. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Effective communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
