Wood is currently hiring a Discipline Piping EngineerResponsibilities:Responsible for piping design, plant layout, piping stress concepts, and general requirements from construction, maintenance, and operability points of view.Originate new and revise existing engineering deliverables.Revise and check engineering deliverables against company procedures, standards, and checklists.Supervise engineering work produced by juniors.Conduct and receive training related to the job as required.Plan and complete work within allocated man-hours effectively to avoid slippage.Interface, coordinate, and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other team members.Delegate and distribute work as well as manage team billability.Coordinate with all disciplines in the preparation and development of deliverables.Go for site visits, verify site conditions, and markup drawings/perform as-built activities.Manage deliverables submission with required quality checks and proper record management.Write technical reports and prepare presentations.Have full knowledge of Aramco, Sabic, and Royal Commission standards.Conduct technical bid evaluation, vendor document review, and subcontract scope management.Requirements:BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalentMinimum 10 years’ experience in piping designAble to prepare independently plot plans, piping plans, isometrics, stress inputs, support selection, MTOs, pipe calculations, hydrostatic test diagrams, datasheets, cutover plans, material selection, and execute 3D model review sessions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
