Job DescriptionA wholesale firm is in search of a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. This full-time position will be based in-office and will involve managing all accounting aspects of the daily operations.The candidate will collaborate closely with the financial manager and other directors across the various companies within the Group.Responsibilities:Prepare trial balancesInteract with management and clients on accounting mattersAct as a primary point of contact for clientsAssist Financial and Business Manager with information for financial statementsManage month-end journalsManage provisionsManage diverse expenditureMonth-end journals, provisions, diverse, etc.Compile monthly income statementCost allocations report for all overhead expenditures and allocate per branchVAT reconciliation and reporting, calculation, and payments, submit on E-filingRequirements:At least 3 years of experience in accounting or a related fieldProficient in Pastel Accounting & Pastel PayrollDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (advantageous)Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBenefitsHours of work: 08:00-16:30Fulltime, permanent position#J-18808-Ljbffr
