To provide assistance to anesthesia personnel in assembling equipment and supplies for the administration of anesthesia. Incumbent works with a wide variety of equipment peculiar to administration of anesthesia, patient monitoring and related life support systems and must be familiar with intravenous fluids plus and blood administration system. Understands sequence of procedures required for rapid induction and intubation used in emergency cases to prevent vomiting and aspiration. Performs Sellick’s Maneuver (Cricoid pressure) as required. Positions patients for surgery and those requiring spinal or epidural anesthesia with awareness of requirement of a sterile and sterile technique for the procedure. Job Requirements: Diploma / College Degree in Anesthetic Techniques. Minimum 2 years experience after qualification and registration/license to practice. Currently licensed in country of origin and with DOH license to practice in Al Ain, UAE. Fluent in spoken&written English, Arabic language is desirable, but not essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
