Legal Counsel Jobs in Dubai | Majid Al Futtaim Job Responsibilities: Research and analysis of complex legal and compliance issues, as well as monitoring new issues that may arise or changes to regulatory requirements; Support more senior counsels on the legal team on diverse issues of law and compliance that arise in the daily operation of the business, as well as emerging challenges; Draft and review documents, memos, correspondence, and contracts, as well as helping business leaders interpret and understand legal and compliance matters or complex language or deals; Assist in delivering legal and compliance trainings and initiatives to help business people understand and keep up with what the law requires, how they can manage risks appropriately, and when to ask for help; and Job Requirements: Law degree and admission to practice/good standing in relevant jurisdictions 2+ years of substantive legal expertise, developed in a corporate or law firm setting serving sophisticated clients across a range of services. Demonstrates integrity in every action. Experienced in legal and business concepts relevant to your area of practice. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. Ability to listen as well as speak. Highly organized and comfortable at multi-tasking. Proficiency to work on or ability to learn technology systems used by the company and particularly the legal team. Ability to work independently within timelines set, and collaborate with and report to senior lawyers and business leaders in charge of projects. Detail-oriented with a penchant for accuracy. Curious about learning the business and innovative ways to get work done. Excellent at building and supporting trusted relationships.
