Review the project’s Mechanical (HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting) preliminary and final design calculations, specifications and drawings prepared by the consultant to ensure compliance to concept design and all International/ Local regulations and prepare designs preview report to be submitted and discussed to line manager. Optimize the best design solutions and propose Value Engineering study in order to add value to the project both Technical and commercial. Monitor technical and shop drawings submittals for the project during execution to ensure compliance to project specifications, and to provide the necessary technical support for the Projects Team. Support project execution in all parameters to accomplish the intended quality within cost budget and time frame and attend to Mechanical systems Testing and Commissioning exercises for a successful handing over. Attending meetings periodically with Consultants/ Contractors and attend site visits as required. Monitor and report to line manager material procurement including foreign and local material orders to ensure successful project execution. Guide the preparation of and awarding of the Provisional Sum items and review the submittals/ proposals in compliance with project specifications and in line with the planed budget under the supervision of the line manager to complete the packaging award. Review and negotiate the Contractor’s variations and value engineering for the best interest of the project. Report and document the progress to Line manager. Collaborate, assist, and advice technical team and consultants on various technical aspects, design improvements, green solutions, and efficient layouts. Assist, advise and give solutions to various stakeholders and end users related to mechanical systems. Minimum Requirement Education Mechanical Engineering Degree from a recognized University and Professional Qualification in a related discipline. Experience Relevant work experience of 12 years in a similar environment. Competencies / Technical Skills Self-motivated&Strict discipline Obsession with high-quality work&demanding performance and of high ethics. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Full Knowledge of international HVAC, NFPA, and Plumbing codes and standards. Strong skills in Mechanical Systems Design, Design Calculations, sustainable and environmentally friendly system Aware of the latest technologies and systems.
