Job Summary: Lead Civil Engineer Minimum ten (10) years of experience in design and construction, with at least 7 years in civil major works. Graduate from an accredited university. Strong knowledge of Conceptual Design, FEED and Detailed Engineering of Civil scope in projects. Experience in foundations and GBS - gravity base structures - engineering. Experience in analysis and design for large projects. The Lead Civil Engineer’s main responsibilities are: Review Customer technical requirements and ensure these are incorporated in EPC Contractors project related specifications and design drawings. Review and/or development of project deliverables including: CSA procedures Technical specifications Conceptual design Geotechnical Reports Onshore Structural Steelwork Foundation and building/structural designs Underground layouts and pipework Preparation of cost estimate input. Coordinating Civil related issues with the other disciplines. Ensuring overall quality of the Civil design by performing regular reviews. Participating in formal 3D plant model reviews. Applies knowledge/skills to a range of activities, acts as a technical resource to others in own area and to colleagues with less experience.
