Job SummaryThe Senior Technical and Engineering Manager is responsible for all engineering/technical aspects of the Company's operations, inclusive of value engineering opportunities, construction and overall methodology, method statements, engineering design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and follow-up approval. This position also manages the preparation/verification of detailed constructional drawings, negotiation and securing of technical and statutory approvals to achieve and monitor the optimum effectiveness.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide support in the implementation of all technical and engineering strategies and strategic operational goals to exceed customer expectations for product development, quality, cost, and delivery, maximizing efficiency, optimizing, and driving engineering excellence.Manage the Technical and Engineering function and quality of service delivery, striving for best-in-class products and business practices to deliver to the customer’s expectations.Ensure maintaining a safe working environment within Company workplaces and applying the Company Health and Safety Policy.Manage the engineering team on the project site, provide directions, strategy, daily/weekly/monthly tasks, and work plan for the team members.Maintain a good relationship with all project key stakeholders and the engineering team members.Increase the efficiency of the technical team performance using smart approaches.Additional ResponsibilitiesJob Knowledge & SkillsJob Experience: Minimum 10 years of working experience, 8 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC is a plus.Competencies: Collaboration, Accountability, Resilience, Quality, Leadership, Cost Management L4, QA/QC L4, Geotechnical Engineering L4, Drawings/Specifications L4, HSE L4Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering.
