We are also supporting the modernisation and development of energy grids, managing the setup and siting for new transmission and distribution networks, and using hydrogen to decarbonise the transport and industry sectors.Job DescriptionROLE PURPOSE: As a Sr Engineer, he/she plays a crucial role in providing expert technical guidance and leadership to the diverse portfolio of projects. He/she will be responsible for executing various Electrical assignments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions to the clients, bidding of substation, transmission and underground projects. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams, mentoring junior Engineers and designers. Collaborating with Client/Vendor Requirements for Substation Design for AIS, GIS Substations and develop drawings/documents for Primary Electrical Design, that meet project goals and operational standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:Project Management: Lead and manage multiple Electrical engineering projects from inception to completion. This includes establishing project objectives, creating work plans, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Technical Expertise: Apply extensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices to develop innovative solutions for the clients' challenges. Provide advice on complex technical issues and offer guidance on best practices.Design and Analysis: Conduct detailed of primary electrical design and analysis for various systems, components, and equipment. This includes evaluating performance, efficiency, safety, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and objectives. Develop strong professional relationships and effectively communicate technical concepts and project progress to clients.Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers in their professional development.
