JOB DESCRIPTIONJob purpose:The Senior Project Engineer is accountable for coordination of engineering activities, in charge of design, technical requisitioning and subcontracting of an entire facility (whole project or portion of project) up to the scheduled completion, in accordance with Company's QHSES corporate policies, contractual commitments (design data, codes, classes etc.), construction needs, schedule and budgetReporting lines and interactions:Hierarchically reports to: Operations ManagerOperationally reports to: Project ManagerDirectly supervises (operationally): Project Engineers, Lead Discipline EngineersKey interactions (internally, externally):Internally: Engineering and non-engineering disciplines, Group engineering centersExternally: Clients, subcontractors, vendors, licensors, authorities, partnersJob scope and Accountabilities:Represents the company towards clients, partners, subcontractors, vendors and third parties for technical subjects and may contribute to business development initiatives by reporting information or suggestion to the Project manager.Defines engineering coordination procedures, issues the basic data for design, and approves general project specifications.Contributes to schedule preparation, actively controls schedule execution and proposes corrective actions when needed.Ensures coordination of interfaces among engineering disciplines and with procurement, construction, vendors, licensors, and partners.Profile:Must have:B.Sc.
